LIFE HAPPENED!

Hello, my people!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I never left.

Life happened!

When I say “life happened”, I’m not necessarily trying to insinuate that bad situations occurred. I’ve just been living life in the moment without recording, without writing, and without editing things every second. I’ve been LIVING, and I truly thank God for it all! Of course, I’ve gone through some challenges along the way but those things don’t bother me. I only view them as “Set-Ups” for God to show himself as a waymaker, miracle-worker, and promise keeper in my life. Every chance I get to wake up, use my limbs, and have peace of mind, I give God praise!

So much has happened over the past couple of months that I must share a few of them with you!

I GRADUATED with my MSW degree in May/August! My family and friends from near and far celebrated with me, and it felt so good. On the days when I wanted to give up or question my “Why’s?”, my family and friends reminded me of my PASSION, God’s PROMISE, and my PURPOSE. Now that I have completed grad school, it’s time to begin adulting…AGAIN! Time to study for my licensing exam, and applying for full-time positions that I am interested in pursuing as a career!

GRADUATION

I volunteered at The Curvy Con during New York Fashion Week; 2nd year in a row, with founders Cece Olisa and Chasity Garner Valentine! You should attend #TheCurvyCon next Year!

I celebrated my friends at their wedding, birthdays, and housewarming….

I Attended Family Reunions & Get-Togethers!

I planned my Annual Birthday Getaway.. which will be HAPPENING REAL SOON!!

It’s just been simply AMAZING!

I am about to enter a new chapter in my life (Age 26)! In this upcoming year, I want to trust God in EVERY area of my life! I do not want to step into things prematurely or say “YES” to every opportunity that comes knocking on my door. Over the years, I learned that not every good opportunity is good/fit for me. I must stay true to who I am and what I want/need/deserve.

I’m so excited about the things that will come to fruition in the coming days, weeks, months, and years! I look forward to sharing with you as they come along.

What are some things that you look forward to in the coming days or months? Feel free to leave a comment below!

Until Next Time, ❤
