“What are you going to do when they laugh at you?”, they asked.
I said, “LOVE.”
“What are you going to do when they lie on you?”
I said, “LOVE.”
What are you going to do when they accuse you, misuse you, compare your worth to another, or HATE you?”
I said, “LOVE.”
I will LOVE when it hurts. I will LOVE when it’s uncomfortable. I will love when they crucify me with their words.
“Why?”, they asked.
Well, because I was one of them. It wasn’t until I truly understood the LOVE of Christ when I saw myself just as faulty, broken, insecure, messy, and in need of a Savior, just like the others.
So I will LOVE. LOVE until their HATE IS NO LONGER THERE. I will LOVE so that others may have a chance to feel…to see what it’s like to be…
LOVED.
